ALTA/NSPS Land Title Surveys
An ALTA/NSPS Land Title Survey is commonly referred to as simply an ALTA Survey. ALTA/NSPS is the acronym for the American Land Title Association (ALTA) and the National Society of Professional Surveyors (NSPS). These two organizations jointly established and adopted a set of minimum standard detail requirements to be used for the preparation of ALTA/NSPS Land Title Surveys.
Boundary Survey
A Boundary Survey establishes the boundary lines for a parcel of land. A Boundary Survey typically includes setting all property corners, preparing a survey map for recordation. The Boundary Survey map would include the depiction of all boundary lines, dimensions, and acreage.
